India bars Hikvision, Dahua and TP-Link CCTV sales from April 1 under certification rules

Chinese video surveillance companies will be barred from selling internet-connected CCTV cameras and other video surveillance products from April 1, when new certifying rules come into effect.

Chinese brands had ~33% share till 2025; domestic firms now hold >80% share. Certification denial covers products using Chinese chipsets, shifting supply chains.
