Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has announced a major skill and employment initiative in partnership with Singapore's ITEES. The initiative includes launching the world's largest finishing school in Mundra, aiming to train over 25,000 learners annually and support the Make in India movement.

‘Schools of Excellence’
The Adani Group has collaborated with ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore to build a 'schools of excellence' to cater for the needs of industries such as Green Energy, Manufacturing, Hi-tech, Project Excellence and Industrial Design.
Adani family will donate over ₹2,000 crore for the project. These schools will be known as Adani Global Skills Academy and will select students from technical and vocational education backgrounds in India that are aligned with the industry.
After receiving certification in a particular field, the company stated that the students would be provided within the Adani Group and in the industry based on their role and field of training. The course aims to provide trained professionals who are “first-day, first-hour industry ready and benchmarked to global standards of excellence," Adani Group said in a statement.
During the initial phase of the initiative, world's largest finishing school for technical training will be established in Mundra, Gujarat, aiming to skill over 25,000 students annually for various roles. Fresh graduates and diploma holders with vocational and technical qualifications from ITIs or Polytechnics will be eligible for an intensive boot camp experience within the schools.
ITEES Singapore will serve as a knowledge partner for the initiative.
Previously, Gautam Adani announced during his son Jeet Adani's wedding a donation of ₹10,000 crore for various social causes, including building infrastructure in healthcare, education and skill development. Additionally, Adani plans to donate ₹6,000 crores to build two integrated health campuses, Adani Health Cities (AHCs), in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, reported ANI.
