• Cursor for debugging

• Firebase for "backend things"

• had no idea what REST API means

He thought CI/CD was a fintech startup.

Database permissions were basically "good luck everybody."

Secrets were stored in a public GitHub repo.

No backups.

No tests.

No staging environment.

Every deployment broke something and he called it "continuous innovation."

VCs still offered him $30M.

None of this happened btw.
