Code Inclusive. Build Accessible. Empower Independence.
INCLUCODE is a focused software innovation buildathon organized by the IEEE Kerala Assistive Technology & Inclusive Innovation Group (ATII) in collaboration with Codex, STRIDE, IEEE IES Hubs & Nodes, FOSS United, IEEE Sahrdaya SB, dedicated entirely to building technology for persons with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals.
Unlike general hackathons, INCLUCODE challenges developers, designers, and innovators to create practical, inclusive, and accessible digital solutions that improve independence, communication, learning, and digital participation.

📍Event Timeline
Phase 1 - Preliminary Round 🗓 25 June - 5 July 2026
Teams submit their ideas and problem statements under one or more accessibility tracks. Entries will be evaluated based on impact, feasibility, innovation, and accessibility-first design.
Results Announcement 🗓 10 July 2026
Selected teams will be announced and invited to proceed to the development phase.
Phase 2 - Product Development 🗓 11 July - 24 July 2026
Shortlisted teams will build their solutions with support from mentors and industry experts. Participants are expected to develop a functional prototype and prepare a demonstration.
Finale - Offline Presentation 🗓 25 July 2026
Finalists will present their projects before a panel of judges and stakeholders during an in-person showcase.

OpenAI Build Week Community Event - Kerala
Kochi is building after dark. 🌙🚇
Welcome to Codex Nightline, the World's first AI build sprint inside a moving metro system.
100 curated builders will board at Vyttila Metro Station, build through a moving metro round trip using Codex, and present what they made before sunrise.
This is not a normal hackathon. It is one train, one night, one intense solo build sprint.
Venue / Mobility Partner: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL)
Starting & Ending Point: Vyttila Metro Station
Format: Solo AI build sprint
Event Flow
- 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM: Reporting, check-in, briefing, opening, security, and boarding at Vyttila.
- 11:00 PM – 1:00 AM: Exclusive Metro AI Sprint. Participants build onboard during the metro round trip using Codex.
- 1:00 AM – 2:45 AM: Deboard at Vyttila, submission checks, showcase review, and finalist shortlisting.
- 2:45 AM – 4:15 AM: Top 10 lightning demos, judge Q&A, deliberation, and winner announcements.
- 4:15 AM – 5:00 AM: Photos, media bytes, participant exit, and wrap-up.
Important Note
👤 This is a solo build sprint, not a team event. Participants will build and compete individually.
Ideas can be prepared beforehand, but implementation starts only after the official sprint begins.

- Approval is on an individual basis. Because space is limited, we'll only be able to admit approved participants.
- Arrival timing
- Doors open at 10:00 AM, and we'll begin at 11:00 AM sharp.
- To keep things fair for everyone, check-in closes at 10:50 AM, and we won't be able to admit late arrivals.
- In-person event
- This is an in-person-only event.
- If your plans change or you can't arrive on time, we'd really appreciate you cancelling your spot so someone on the waitlist can join.
- We do keep track of no-shows to help us plan future community events fairly.
