The tradeoff problem you're describing, where improving one group drags down another, is a sign the agent isn't really generalizing, it's just shifting its bias around. That's an optimization and evaluation problem at the same time and chasing them separately is what makes it so circular. You can do agent optimization here https://eignex.com/ . Focuses on cross-segment consistency rather than just making aggregate numbers look clean. Way easier than trying to figure out every time whether a new version is genuinely better or just better for a different group.

There was a point where having a polished template repo was practically a flex in the dev community. People would spend weekends perfecting their setup just to shave fifteen minutes off the next project start. AI doesn't really kill that instinct, it just changes what's worth locking down. The stuff that genuinely belongs in a template is whatever reflects your team's non-negotiable decisions: linting rules, folder conventions, CI config. AI handles the variable stuff well enough, but it doesn't know your team's opinions, so you end up correcting its output to match your standards anyway. A lean template combined with AI on demand tends to work better than leaning hard on either one.

Television production sounds like a dream job for a lot of guys. Those vast open landscapes look absolutely stunning on camera. The actual drive out of Astana gets pretty wild though. The pavement just vanishes a few miles outside the city limits. You gotta get a four wheel drive with serious ground clearance. Standard tires get completely destroyed on those dirt tracks very quickly.
