If you sell physical products online, every new SKU needs at least one short vertical video for Reels, Shorts or TikTok. Shooting each one by hand gets slow once the catalog grows. Here is the workflow we use at Nereo for the repetitive part.
Split the catalog. Hero and best-selling products still deserve a real shoot. Colour variants, add-ons and short campaigns are where AI-generated video saves the most time.
Standardise the input photos. Plain background, front and 45-degree angle, one close-up of material or texture, and enough resolution to crop to 9:16. Name files by SKU so you never mix up variants.
Use a three-part script template: a 2-3 second hook (a use case or a problem), two or three visible selling points, and one call to action that fits the channel. Keep it in a spreadsheet so a new collection is just new rows.
Generate drafts from the photo plus one simple camera move per scene (slow pan, gentle zoom). One clear motion per clip looks far more natural than several at once.
Review before posting: colour and material match the real product, no warped details, prices and offers match the store page, and the music is licensed for the platform.
Test one variable at a time (hook, scene order or caption) and watch completion rate and add-to-cart rate.
We built Nereo for exactly this kind of work: it generates videos, product ads and ecommerce visuals from ideas, images and scripts. If you want to try the workflow, it is here: Nereo
