I recently built Quick I Ching, a free web tool for casting and exploring I Ching hexagrams.

One thing I really wanted to get right was the casting experience. A lot of online I Ching tools feel like you click a button and immediately get a random result, so I wanted to preserve more of the actual process.

Right now it supports the Three-Coin Method, Yarrow Stalk Method, and Mei Hua Yi Shu. A reading shows the primary hexagram, changing lines when there are any, the relating hexagram, and an interpretation.

I’m still improving the product experience, especially the casting flow and how easy the result page is to understand if you’re new to the I Ching.
